DCM in SCCM 2007 allows the administrator to use scripts to detect if a particular configuration item is applicable as well as if a particular setting is valid. Unfortunately, the documentation that comes with the product does not show how to author the scripts to make it work.

This VBS script will allow you to enter a Primary Parent site server name and its site code into input dialog boxes. It will then list all of the Site servers as well as their Type (Primary or Secondary) , Site code, Site name and their Parent (ReportingSiteCode) site code to an Excel spreadsheet.
