For those that participate in the email lists that myITforum.com provides, you know that we’ve had some slowdown issues over the past couple weeks.  We have finaly resolved the problems by upgrading our list software to the latest version and performing some maintenance on the email queues.

Prior to our issues, email delivery to the huge number of subscribers would take from 2–6 minutes.  During the email slowdown, email delivery was taking anywhere from 15–45 minutes.  After testing the upgrade today, we are back at about 2–4 minutes per email delivery.  The times are actually better than they were previously (with the old software).
