Work Description needed:
Requires experience in a broad range of skills based on Windows systems architecture. Additional technologies include but are not limited to hardware and operating system life cycle and provisioning, virtualization technologies, understanding of network technologies, consolidation, Citrix, and Linux. Individual must be able to create technology plans for given responsibility and understanding the plan as it relates to the total environment. Knowledge on how technology ties into current environment and future environment is a must. Possible project assignments may include Kiosk replatforming, NT4 server elimination, Monitoring, and developing a management plan for new WePOS cash register systems.
Technical Skill set needed.
Required: Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, SMS, Scripting technologies, Microsoft BDD deployment model, Windows client technologies (XP, Vista, WePOS, etc), Patch management and software deployment, Capacity Planning
Monitoring systems (MOM, HP Openview, etc.), SQL, Cluster management, Storage Area Networks, PKI, Citrix, System Manager Reporting Manager skills are a plus!
