We’ve been tinkering with the chat engine a bit over the last day or so, and I think we’ve come up with something extremely useful and heads-above what we rolled out initially.  You can now see how many people are in chat and who is in chat even before entering the chat foyer.

And, then once logged in, you can create new rooms, (private rooms if you like) move from room to room, and talk to a single individual or the whole group.
