Multiple SMS positions available in Duluth, GA

Work Description needed: (brief)
Under general supervision and with minimal assistance from more experienced and knowledgeable test and deploy analysts, provides technical, operational and infrastructure services for the testing, packaging and deploying of client server applications of intermediate complexity. Provides fourth level operational support for applications. Independently researches and resolves moderately complex technical problems. Acts as a technical resource on projects, providing support and technical direction for infrastructure projects.
 
Technical Skill set needed. Please list in order of priority & whether skill is required or a plus:
Will join Windows Deployment team as an SMS Deployment Analyst. Must have proven experience in SMS packing, testing, deploying, reporting and troubleshooting. Must have current deployment experience.
 
Required Skills:
Must have proven experience in SMS packing, testing, deploying, reporting and troubleshooting - will train other team members on SMS deployments.
Experience deploying in a Windows 2003/XP & Active Directory environment
Experience deploying web content to intel platform - experience deploying in a web/IIS local director environment
Must demonstrate strong scripting skills in VB, WISE and/or Batch Commands
Participation in team rotational oncall schedule for after hours and weekend support
Required to complete Deployment reports, technical support and statistics for Deployments
Required to work with Deployment requestor to schedule, package and test Deployments. Also provides deployment statistics to customer and management.
Must be available to arrive to work by 7:00am to confirm and address deployment tasks
 
Non-Technical Skills:
Excellent communication skills - must be able to communicate with customer and all levels of management
Must have good conflict resolution skills
Looking for someone who has a passion for process and who can help identify/address areas for process improvement in the deployment environment
Good analytical and organization skills
Strong multitasking and time management skills with consistent attention to detail
Team player
 

Positions located in Duluth, GA.  These are full-time permanent positions.
