Job Title:          Quality Assurance Analyst II
Job Type:         Full Time Employee
Location:          Plano, TX, 75075
Start Date:        Immediately
Key Skills:        4+ yrs of QA experience, SDLC, black box/white box testing, mortgage/finance background.

Primary Responsibilities Include:


Developing test plans, scripts, and cases from complex functional and technical specifications
Configuring test environment and executing test cases
Creating test scripts and/or modifying moderately complex test scripts to test software application to ensure proper operation and identify defects
Interacting with Development and System Analyst teams
Analyzing and troubleshooting potential defects
Analyzing and documenting all test results including problems and defects
Identifying impact of defects on other applications and systems
Reporting and tracking status of resolution and escalating as necessary
Performing stress, load and performance testing

A Successful Candidate Will Have:


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
4+ years software quality control experience
Highly skilled in creating test plans and cases from complex specifications
Good knowledge of applications development and ability to develop test scripts
Background in black box and white box testing
Ability to read and understand source code
Knowledge of Regression, Stress, Load and Performance Testing
Good knowledge of SDLC methodology and processes 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Good Interpersonal skills (active participant and collaborative team player)

The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess:


Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science or related subject
Professional Certifications (i.e. CSTE, CSQA) are a plus
Knowledge of FoxPro, Clipper, dBase or other XBase language is desirable 
Relational database concepts, i.e. database normalization, and experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Sybase) is a plus
Experience with Test Automation and Defect Tracking tools are a plus
Experience in Mortgage or Financial Services is a plus
