The Role
Reporting to the Euro Support Team Manager, the Euro Support Production Engineer’s role is to provide support for the bank’s Windows 2000/2003/XP infrastructure & SMS 2.0/2003 environments within the Euro domain, geographically spread over 25+ sites within Europe (outside of France).
Responsibilities include:-
• Provide day-to-day support for the Euro domain
• Supporting local production units with any XP desktop and W2K/W2K3 server issues
• Provide on-site deployment assistance
• Provide consultancy & best practise guidelines
• Escalation point for any high level production problems
• Provide on-call support
The Candidate
Skills
Excellent Windows 2000/2003 Server & XP Professional skills
• Excellent Active Directory & Group Policy skills 
• Good experience of supporting SMS 2.0/2003
• Experience of WINS
• Logical & methodical problem analysis & troubleshooting skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• European language skills advantageous
