Candidates must screen with our SMS consultant utilize your skills and experience at a Fortune 50 Finance Services company in a role on a cross functional project team.   

We are seeking highly experienced IT professionals with significant SMS experience. This role focuses on the deployment of an additional 130 SMS servers to support SMS worldwide. Selected candidates will be hard working, reliable SMS experts that will ensure the deployment is a success. Perform all Application Deployment tasks using the SMS 2003 Infrastructure.

Deploy Core and line of business products out to designated users following SMS corporate deployment standards. Create SMS collections, individual and bundle packages, product associations and provide confirmation of product delivery. Be able to use SMS Reporting feature to generate Microsoft provided, and create adhoc, deployment reports. Monitor and validate package replication process across the SMS infrastructure.

Understand how to diagnose, and correct, SMS package, collection and advertisement problems issues. Understand/Adhere to all Corporate Change Control processes and procedures. Technical Skills required: Expert level knowledge of Microsoft SMS 2003 Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft DNS, WINS Infrastructures Expert level knowledge of SMS WBEM Intermediate knowledge of SMS Advance Security model
