If a candidate is hired lacking an MS certification – it  must be achieved within the first 3 months of employment (MSP) One of the following are preferred to be held by this position o MCSE – Systems Engineer on 2003 Server o MCSA Systems Administrator on Windows 2003 o MCDBA Database Administrator on SQL (MCITP or MCTS will be more beneficial). • Bachelors Degree in related field or Minimum of 5 Years experience in like field • Posses a working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access), Internet and the company’s selected Project Management software • Strong Innovative, Motivational, and Proactive Personality • Strong ability to be proactive in IT Policy Enforcement • Strong verbal and written communications skills • Must be able to prioritize in a fast-paced working environment • Knowledge/Capability to manage multiple job requirements and sites • Must be able to work with IT professionals in our clients’ organizations • Must be coachable – willing to learn the COMPANY way of doing business   Location – Harrisburg, PA Area code = 717 Tax term = FT Pay Rate = competitive Length = FT   Role Summary: Our client needs to fill this position as follows:  This position requires a professional responsible for the execution of COMPANY service work for our clients, customer service calls and emails related to our IT based products & development of additional opportunities with current clients through consistent inquiry about their needs. Exceptional service and performance in these areas are critical to the success of  the COMPANY.   The position is also responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support to the COMPANY network and associated hardware used to carry on business operations including servers, workstations, printers, scanners and laptops as well as supporting a secure and fully operational computing environment. This professional should be able to assist in designing and maintaining the COMPANY’s interactive web site – to be able to help build it would be a plus.   Reports To:  Senior Project Manager for Customer related work and Office Manager for the COMPANY Network & web site support. Customer work supersedes the COMPANY work.     Principal Accountabilities: (essential job functions)   • Manage/maintain required material for an efficient/effective project • Work closely with Senior Project Manager to achieve goals/objectives. • Client Relations - Maintain a trust – based, working relationship with existing clients, while working to develop new client relationships by asking for referrals and introductions as appropriate. • Always keep managers informed of any/all customer comments or feedback • Attend pre-construction/IT coordination meetings for projects as needed. • Execute after hours service calls as directed by Senior Project Manager • Provide input to project management software as required. Notify Senior Project Manager of any unexpected problems in fulfillment steps. • Interact with customer IT staff and departments as needed to provide the technology face of the COMPANY to our clients. • Responsible for maintaining technology related communications with clients on software brand specific requirements to include patches, support plans, hot fixes, alerts on new products, as well as planning and executing quarterly demonstrations for clients of new products and modules. • Support the COMPANY sales efforts by participating in sales presentations, assisting Sales professionals in system design, and providing product demonstrations for prospects as required. • Support the COMPANY marketing by looking forward to our suppliers’ product releases and new products within the industry – provide company mangers with input on your assessment of new product viability to our clients and market space. • Work closely with Office Manager to achieve goals/objectives • Execute company compliance with Government, safety, OSHA, ICRA, HIPAA and other required regulations as relates to Information Technology Systems within the COMPANY and when at customer sites. • Maintain regular communication with Office Manager and fulfill on reporting as required – to include maintaining the COMPANY networks and network devices in a fully operational status always patched and upgraded as needed. • Support the COMPANY web site with timely changes as directed. • Maintain all of the COMPANY license agreements with supplier products and web services. • Work closely with sub-contractors • Become the company expert on all communication mediums utilized by the company • Always be prepared to question or challenge the Senior Project Manager on any issues you feel are not developing as you would desire. • Responsible for monitoring any technology inventory within the COMPANY or at client sites. Report to the Senior Project Manager the inventory status on a monthly basis. • Manage your email – use concise communication in writing yet give your emails 100% effort to be courteous, polite and specific – avoid email, use face to face for confrontational or insidious issues. • Answer phone lines promptly, courteously and professionally.   Expected Behavior:   • Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures • Held accountable to abide by Rules and Guidelines of the Company Handbook • Represent the company in a professional manner in and outside the office. • Exercise tact and operate with confidentiality in and outside the office. • Seek out responsibility and tasks – do not wait to be directed   Travel required = less than 10% Telecommuting = no
