Three Point Solutions has a 6 month contract for a Computer System Account Administrator with a Fortune 500 client in Plymouth, MN

This is a senior level configuration management engineering position that will serve as a subject matter expert on the global Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) infrastructure. The responsibilities include the ability to assist with making strategic technology decisions as well as improving existing processes and procedures with all facets of the Microsoft SMS platform.

Main Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. May provide guidance to lower level personnel.
• Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
• Interacts with senior external personnel.
• Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on projects.
• Interface with all levels of the business globally to provide leadership in the Systems Management space.
• Prepare detailed specifications and documentation.
• Provide Systems Management subject matter expertise supporting complex projects including evaluation of processes and products to enhance SMS. Job Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
• Experience should show progressively complex assignments with Systems Management.

JOB EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years increasing work experience with Microsoft SMS.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• Demonstrated SMS and SQL expertise
• Strong analytical, project leadership, project management, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Active Directory PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Be able to work in a office environment and work with computer systems, programming tools etc.

PREFERENCES
• Experience managing large enterprise infrastructures
• Experience in health care industry as it pertains to FDA regulatory requirements (e.g. CFR Part 11).
• Experience with desktop deployment automation technologies (Imaging, scripting, application packaging)
• Experience with Microsoft’s Operations Manager
