Major military command has a contract position available for an experienced SMS Administrator that needs to be filled immediately in San Antonio, TX.

Qualified individuals will have a minimum 3-5 years of Systems Administrator experience with SMS 2.0/2003, supporting Windows 2000/XP workstation and Windows 2000/2003 server Operating Systems. Candidate will assist with managing a SMS hierarchy that is three tiered and is composed of 67 primary sites and 80,000 clients deployed globally.


Requirements

• 
  Expert skills and understanding of SMS 2003 SP2 and advanced security model
• 
  Intermediate skills and understanding of SQL 2000 and query development
• 
  Strong working knowledge of Windows 2003 Active Directory, Group Policy and related networking services such as DNS, DHCP and WINS
• 
  Possess strong leadership, analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
• 
  Ability to work in a office environment as a member of a team
• 
  Must be a U.S. citizen and pass a general background check

  Experience with Microsoft’s Operations Manager (MOM) 2005Experience managing large enterprise infrastructures
• 
  Experience working with SMS feature packs
• 
  Experience packaging for SMS
• 
  Experience working with the military
