Position Title: Application Packager 6 -12 months + in Rancho Cordova, Ca.
Required Skills:
MSI Experience
¨ Extensive MSI Software packaging skills with Wise Package Studio 7.0.
¨ Expertise deploying applications using SMS 2003
¨ Design test plans and package new applications for distribution.
¨ Knowledge of test plan protocol including back out procedures
¨ Maintenance of the Microsoft Windows XP Desktop Standard Base Image
¨ Collaborate with Desktop Technicians, Developers and Application Support Engineers to determine packaging, distribution and test plan requirements and to obtain necessary signoff and approval in accordance with Change Management and Configuration Management procedures.
¨ Document packaging definitions and test protocols.
Other Experience
¨ Experience with Windows Server and desktop OS – Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Windows XP
¨ Expertise administering Microsoft Active Directory
¨ Expertise administering Microsoft Exchange environments
¨ Customer-focused orientation with sensitivity to Customer priorities and business requirements
¨ Strong verbal and written communication skills
¨ Strong analytical thinking, sharp problem solving skills and attention to details
Familiar with the following concepts
¨ USMT 2.6
¨ SMS 2003 with SP1
¨ SMS OSD Feature PackNetworking services infrastructure, including Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Windows Internet Naming Service (WINS), and remote access
¨ Active Directory® directory service infrastructure, including logical and physical design of infrastructure
