AntiVirus Administrator Urgently Needed in RI

perotsystems has an immediate opening for a skilled AntiVirus Administrator in Woonsocket, RI.
 
Experience Required
3 yrs experience with Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition (v7x-v10x) in both a managed and unmanaged role, supporting Windows 2000/2000 Server, Windows XP and Server2003 operating systems preferred. Equivalent experience with McAfee ePo will be considered. Experience with Symantec’s AntiVirus Scan Engine for SharePoint or similar products (e.g. Scan Engine for ISA Server) a significant plus;
 
The successful candidate shall:
  • maintain the operational antivirus protection infrastructure; ensuring up-to-date antivirus definition deployment on 100% of assigned systems at all times;
  • Ensure client deployment is at 100% of all deployed systems at all times;
  • Identify and remediate unprotected or unmanaged systems
  • ensure redundant definiton retrieval and deployment mechanisms are in place and operational at all times for both managed and unmanaged systems;
  • take immediate and preventive measures upon notification of any significant virus outbreak to ensure the safety of the enterprise

System Hierarchy: 9 Server groups; 10,000 total managed clients; 12 unmanaged (firewalled/DMZ) Systems
 
Minimal Educational Experience: AS degree or equivalent work experience
