Narenda – this looks like a bug – most of which was resolved in R2.

Will you be upgrading to R2?  That would be recommended.  If not – then your best bet is to contact PSS for the fix….   If you clear out your old alerts, and keep fewer in the operational database – this helps a lot with this error.  It is worst in poorly tuned and noisy environments.

 I am getting this error very frequently now. Previously I have this error very rarely .
