2008 R2 is not yet supported - we typically state 90 days post RTM to support an app or OS with SCOM.

However - there are lots of people running OpsMgr R2 agents on Server 2008 R2.  There is a beta OS MP for 2008 R2 available on connect as well - but that might be available only to TAP participants - I am not sure.

Historically - to support a new OS - we always find things that are unique to that OS - and require a hotfix or two for full support.  I don't know if we will require hotfixes for full 2008 R2 support or not - since that statement is not expected until 90 days post RTM.

I am running opsmgr sp1 on Windows 2003 sp2. Can I push an agent out to a Windows 2008 R2 box and is it supported ?
