Kerberos may not be working in the other direction - I did check for a success/fail audits on the Kerberos auth on the gw and there were neither. I will investigate the lack of mutual authentication in the morning. If needed I can probably get logging turned up - Wireshark/netmon would be more difficult. Thank you both! Most of the time - when I see these - it comes down to either too much data coming in (too many alerts/perf date from agents) or poor disk I/O on the database servers. Run perfmons on the DB server logical disks, collecting every 1 second, for avg disk sec/read and avg disk sec/write. If you are *sustained* above 15ms, you have poor disk I/O. It is normal to see short bursts that can be very high ...

2008 R2 is not yet supported - we typically state 90 days post RTM to support an app or OS with SCOM. However - there are lots of people running OpsMgr R2 agents on Server 2008 R2. There is a beta OS MP for 2008 R2 available on connect as well - but that might be available only to TAP participants - I am not sure. Historically - to support a new OS - we always find things that are unique to that OS...

Back in our Tivoli days, we could develop a rule or monitor and attached files to be used with rule. As the rule went out, it would take the files with it. Is that possible in OpsMgr 2007 SP1??? I know we can ship a script out but not seeing exactly how to ship out an exe and a response txt file.
