Also, if I remember correctly, there is a problem with this where it won't work if you are using an ADMP RunAs account..you'll need to set the Action Account on the source and target servers to be the same as the ADMP account.

Performance data is collecgted by rules. There are a pair of Performance Collection rules in the ADMP named "AD Replication Monitoring Performance Collection (Sources)" and "AD Replication Monitoring Performance Collection (Targets)" that are disabled by default.

 Have you enabled these rules?

Hi Andy,

Yes I followed the ADMP Guide. Events like slow replication, topology diagram and so on, work fine.

The Latency Container also exists. The RunAs Account is an user account with domain admin rights.

Hi Stephan,

Have you followed the AD MP Deployment Guide? You need to ensure that all your domain controllers have the AD Management Pack Helper installed, that you have created the OpsMgrLatencyMonitors container in AD and that you have configured the AD Replication monitoring Run As Profile with an account that has permissions to the aforementioned container.

Here is a link to the guide for your reference: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd262035.aspx

We have here a Windows 2008 Domain Controller and the ADMP imported.

We are running Operations Manager 2007 SP1.

All views are ok, but the Replication Latency view has no counter available.

We have not disabled or enabled any role or monitor, no overrides.

Any idea, why there are no counters available in the replication latency view?

Thanks,

Stephan
