Subject: [msmom] Exchange MP version 6.0.6387.0
Hello all
I recently imported the latest Exchange MP I am trying to tune the “IS RPC Latency consecutive samples monitor” and the “IS RPC Latency Monitor.” when I look at the threshold comparison tab on the consecutive samples monitor, I see Value =greater than 50.00. Is this number in milliseconds? In the Number of samples I see a value of 3. Putting this altogether does this monitor alert when it detects that the Rpc Average latency counter has gone over 50. Milliseconds for three consecutive samples? Is there a dependency with these two monitors?
The reason why I am asking is because when an alert is generated for the “IS RPC Latency Monitor” the current value is much lower than 50. Also soon after the monitor raises an alert I get another alert from the IS RPC Latency Monitor consecutive threshold telling me that value is greater than the threshold for 3 times
Alert: RPC latency is outside the calculated baseline
