Hyper-V - Configuration - HP Proliant Servers BIOS Settings

Just a quick note on BIOS settings required for HP Proliant Servers. If you receive an Event ID: 14098 within the Hyper-V Manager ('Hypervisor' driver required by the Virtual Machine Management service is not installed or it is disabled. Check out your settings or try reinstalling the Hyper-V role.) check the following items.

Within the BIOS, enable the following:

"No-Execute Memory Protection"

"[CPU Mfg] Virtualization Technology" (Can be Intel or AMD)

 Save with F10.
