Tech Ramblings from a Higher Ed. Sysadmin

An Introduction ...

So... here I am starting a blog.  I figure that I should start off and have my first post be a bit of an introduction.  So here is a little about me.

I am currently a Senior Systems Administrator for the College of LSA at the University of Michigan.  I am primarily responsible for our System Center Configuration Manager environment for our workstations, Our SCOM server, and our Virtual Server environment.  I also have a few other things on our teams service list with my name attached to it.  I have been focused on SCVMM a lot lately, but we are just starting to ramp up for the 2012 System Center Wave.

I am also a grad student in the UofM School of Information.  Because of work commitments I am doing this part time so it is going to take next to forever.

I am not sure exactly what I am going to blog about yet... probably all of the above.  I hope to share solutions to problems, things I learn in classes, or thoughts I have about technology.  Maybe other things, we will see.

I am really looking forward to becoming a contributing member of the myITforum community.

Thanks for having me.
