This is a VERY old script I wrote in 2000 for SMS 2.0, that I've used for SMS 2003 too. I have no idea how well it works anymore, but I know it worked for SMS 2.0 and SMS 2003 RTM.
The purpose of it is to add a range of boundaries to SMS without having to go through them by hand one-by-one. Back in 2000, I was heavy into WinBatch and was teaching a WinBatch class so it was easy to whip something up that walked through the SMS console clicking buttons on behalf of the user. I'm sure I'd do it differently if I were to write something today. There's likely some WMI calls a guy can make that will add boundaries. But this worked and was fast to write so it's what I used. It was also a good example for the class I taught.
I believe all you have to do is open up the boundary add window from SMS and then run the script. It will prompt you for a TXT file to use as input, or ask for an IP range I think...I've included the source code as well in case you want to check it out and modify it for your own purpose.
