RE: Kentucky Basketball

Ron,
I was there last night. I have to say that they played much better than they have in the last few weeks. All things considered, I thought they played well. The first 10 minutes were very sloppy. After that, it got more under control.

I thought we looked better with Patrick at PG and Rondo on the wing. It freed Rajon up to cut more, which helped open up the perimeter shooters. Randolph had the quietest 14 pts I've seen since Kalenna was here, but he certainly kept Georgia from establishing an inside presence.

I wasn't thrilled with Bradley, but Idrissi was playing a little thug ball leading up to the technical. Ramel needs to keep his cool a little better. The team was so hyped up coming out of the locker room though!
I'm almost surprised there wasn't more of that.

Georgia is certainly not at our talent level, so I don't think this was a miracle game or anything. However, with all we've been through in the last couple of weeks, we needed a win, let alone a double digit win, to re-establish some confidence.

Kentucky Basketball:
Well…they won last night, but I’m still wondering what is up with this team.

They should be better than this…
