The recession in a Blog/Twitter world
As you’ve probably read, we’re officially in a recession. Some of us knew that a long time ago but apparently it took a panel of economists to tell us we’ve been in a recession since December, 2007.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve quickly become a Twitterholic. I’m also an RSS feed junkie and subscribe to more blogs (yes, including all of the myITforum.com blogs) than I care to admit. It’s been interesting reading the blogs and tweets from folks over the past few days. Everyone has a different opinion, and honestly, it’s been better than TV, at least for me. You can read real time how the economy and things going on around us are impacting those willing to share their thoughts.
To those who I’ve followed on Twitter, to those blogs I’m following, thanks for sharing your thoughts. It’s great to see minds at work. Yes, there are other things going on in the world and there are some very intelligent people out there, but it’s also great to know that there are other sides to folks. If you aren’t Twittering or blogging, what are you waiting for?
