GMail IMAP SLLLOOOOWWWW
Well, I tried to change settings to my GMail account over the Thanksgiving break from POP3 to IMAP. Good grief. I can't tell you how many times over the course of the last 3 or 4 days Outlook appeared to stop responding and was just SLLOOOWWWWW. I'm not sure at all what the big deal is with IMAP. Even the Google instructions say they recommend IMAP over POP3. Well, I've tried changing several settings to speed up the process, but it's still just way too slow in Outlook.
I've switched back to POP3. It's a welcome change.
