Install SMS Client on Vista
I have installed Vista OS, joined the computer to the domain and waited.
Reboot, Another reboot - and SMS client is not installed!
A quick check inside the CCR.LOG shows that capinst.exe can't install SMS, and therefor ask from the server to push the client using CCR. however, The remote registry service is defined as manual so the client cannot be pushed to the machine.
A quick change inside the GPO and the service was set to automatic - and on the next reboot - SMS is installed as it should be.
I wonder if SMS 2003 SP3 will have news about this issue...
