This image contains a 30 day evaluation environment that you can add to your existing network to try Essentials 2007 on up to 10 Servers and 50 Clients. Working with actual servers and clients will give you a first hand experience of how Essentials 2007 can help you manage your networked environment.

The VHD contains:
1. Windows Server Enterprise Edition operating system with SP2
2. All System Center Essentials 2007 pre-requirements installed
3. System Center Essentials evaluation code with latest roll-up hot fix applied

Essentials 2007 requires Active Directory to be present, so you must join this Virtual Machine to a functioning domain before invoking the setup. You will have 30 days to evaluate and un-install before the system forces you to provide a valid key.  If you have WSUS 2.0 or 3.0 installed on a separate server on your network, you can still evaluate Essentials without interfering with your existing WSUS setup. Instructions for removing Essentials and the agents from the clients and servers are included with the Installation Guide.
