Thanks for all the emails on this post and just to clarify for everyone I wrote the script to retrieve all of the class properties not just the ones I use or have used. It was a matter of making the script inclusive rather that exclusive so just comment out all the class properties that you do not want retrieved. I am sorry that I didn’t state this in the initial post.

If I set this script to ping more than once..and it times out once and replies once, will it show it as on line or off line?

My pings from my pc ALWAYS times out the first time, then are successful after that, so I need to ping 2 times to each ip at least.

How can I monitor these rules in opsmgr(SCOM2007). I can overrides some that can be found in SMS2003 MP but some rules need a manual configuration.Do you have script that can monitor rules that are not in default SMS2003 MP like - auth\sinv.box\ORPHANS

Awesome script! What about counting the number of systems online/offline in a totals column. This would help if there are hundreds of pc's and a lot are not responsive, thanks.

Very nice! Worked well as opposed to some other examples I tried using sqlcommand that failed.

So you're using .net sqldataadapter to fill a dataset. But can you comment on the utility of that vs sqlcommand or sqldatareader?

Jim Bradbury (SMS SDK writer) has one but I am not sure where I seen it. I didn't want to reinvent the wheel so I never attempted to "Put_" one together. :) Don

This information is very helpful. My company is integrating Config Mgr 2007 and I am trying to get information on how change this around a bit to actually write/define the boundaries to the site server. We have 300 sites with 7 distinct subnets at each. Each site will have a protected BDP. Do you have any suggestions? The subnets each have a defined pattern so I just need to know a method to push the information to the site server. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
