Cell Phone Text Messaging Links From Outlook

 

Sending SMS (Short Message Service) text messages is a hot item these days and can be costly if you do not have a good texting plan for your cell phone. There are other ways to send text messages to cell phones other than using a cell phone and can save you a little money as well.

 

You can use a web page as most providers have them these days for their customers or you can use your Outlook or other E-Mail client from home or work to send text messages. Since the ‘other’ SMS is a communications protocol for the interchange of short text messages from telephony devices such as cell phones you can send E-Mail text messages to cell phone users as long as you know their cell phone number and who their provider is via your E-Mail client.
