Here you will find a step by step guide on how to install the OpsMgr 2997 Console on a workstation for managing your OpsMgr infrastructure.
1. Insert the CD-ROM Installation media or connect to a share where the installation media is stored.
2. Run SetupOM.exe to begin the installation.
3. At the System Center Operations Manager 2007 Setup page select “Install Operations Manager 2007”.
4. After the windows installer has competed the preparing the install the Welcome to the System Center Operations Manager 2007 setup wizard screen will appear. Then select “Next” to continue.
5. At the End-User License Agreement page review the license agreement and select “I accept the terms in the license agreement” and select “Next”.
6. At the Product Registration page enter your “User Name”, “Organization” and the 25 digit CD key and select “Next”.
7. From the Custom Setup screen deselect the option for the “User Interfaces” so that the “Command Shell” (PowerShell) will not be installed and click “Next”.
8. From the Ready To Install page select “Install” and the installation will proceed.
9. From the Completing the System Center Operations Manager 2007 Setup Wizard page keep the “Start the Console” selected and click “Finish”.
