The Kansas City Regional Systems Management Users Group (KCRSMUG) will hold its first meeting of 2007 on Wednesday January 24, 2007 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
This month in particular is very special for the members of the KCRSMUG in that we will be celebrating our fifth year anniversary since the inaugural meeting took place on Monday January 14th 2002.
When Janis Keim and I first had the idea of creating the group late in the winter of 2001 we had no idea then that the group would last as long as it has and would have as many members as it does. The officers of the group Kevin Zaner, Reed Porter and I would like to say to all of the past and present group members and its supporters such as Rod Trent and the North Central District Microsoft office: Thank you for helping us achieve this remarkable milestone for a user group!
The keynote presentation for this month will be an overview of the RTM version of PowerShell that I will be presenting as well as a walk through of the application. There will also be a presentation covering the features and technologies of System Center presented by Kevin Zaner our Centriq Foss technical instructor extraordinaire.
As always in our meetings we will have a round table discussion and open forum where you can discuss your issues, concerns and problems with the group.
There will also be refreshments and snacks provided to celebrate our fifth anniversary as well as raffle items.
The next user group meeting will be held on Wednesday February 28, 2007.
