The Microsoft infrastructure optimization self-assessment tool allows you to measure the optimization of your sites infrastructure by asking you some basic Yes or No based questions dealing with the four areas listed here:
Identity and Access Management
Desktop Device and Server Management
Security and Networking
Data Protection and Recovery
After you answer the questions and submit your responses you are redirected to the Results: Infrastructure Optimization Self-Assessment page which rates the four sections listed above on a scale of either being Basic, Standardized, Rationalized or Dynamic and on the Summary section you are presented with the tools Recommendation, Enabling Technology and Microsoft Technologies.
