SQL Server requires systems to support ‘guaranteed delivery to stable media’ as outlined under the Microsoft SQL Server Always-On Storage Solution Review program (http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2005/en/us/storage-solutions-review.aspx

This requirement includes, but is not limited to:
·         Windows logo certification
·         Write ordering
·         Caching stability 
·         No data rewrites
