[Misc] It’s official – EDS is now an HP Company…

So today it’s official. EDS is now an HP company. Of course the coming months are going to be a time of great change as the integration and inevitable consolidation between the two companies take place. For me personally until the actual details of how the acquisition affect me personally are worked out it’s pretty much business as usual for me (and no doubt countless others).

EDS was a big company before, but now it’s part of HP the numbers just get even bigger and scarier:

  • More than 1,000 customers in 80 countries
  • 180 data centers
  • Managing on behalf of our Clients 4.5 million+ desktops, 300,000+ Instant Messaging seats, 4.2 million mailboxes, and that's just for starters.
