A little addition to the bottom of all New FAQShop Articles...

I was looking at the stats today for FAQShop and the number of visitors and page hits are simply quite staggering and unbelievable so first off thankyou to everyone that's paid the Site a visit.

Second, I noticed that by far the biggest referrer to the Site is Google which suggests most people are finding it through Google which is great. This got me thinking.

  • You have an issue and hit Google.
  • You find a link to the FAQShop article which you follow.
  • Then you read the article and it hopefully resolves your issue.

But what next? Is the layout of the article pages that intuitive that you click say the "SMS 2003" icon in the bottom left/ top right hand corner? Well I thought maybe not which is why I've now decided that all new articles posted on FAQShop will include a little information bubble at the bottom of each article with a link to similar related articles (well really it will be a link to the index page of the section you're accessing).

Here's an example taken from the bottom of an SMS 2003 Design and Planning article:

To see other SMS 2003 Design and Planning related FAQs click here.

If you want to see how it looks in the flesh simply access any of the SMS 2003 Articles.

What do you think?
