SQL 2005 Service Pack 2 has been released. It brings support for Vista and Longhorn and fixes varous bugs.

- SMS 2003 will not support SQL 2005 SP2 until SMS 2003 SP3 is released. I'm not sure about MOM 2005 yet but will update this post as soon as I know. -

The Virtual Server R2 MP has been refreshed and is now available via http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=bf21f798-9b10-40dc-bcdd-4a8358cce94d&DisplayLang=en
This MP contains an updated report XML file which will successfully import against SQL Server Reporting Services 2000 and 2005. An additional problem where the datasources for the report were incorrectly configured has also been corrected. The release history of the MP has been updated to reflect the change :-
2/19/2007 Web package updated to include updated report which will import successfully on SQL Server Reporting Services 2005. Corrects the issue documented in Knowledge Base article KB919598. (Version 05.0.4000.0000)

There goes another year. If you are wondering why I'm sounding all depressed, it's because I celebrated (if you can call it that!) my 26th birthday on Saturday. It wasn't a good start to the day, got out of bed and felt about 90 lol.
Oh well, not long till 30......geez, where did I put those happy pills :)

Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 Management Pack for MOM 2005
The Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 Management Pack helps you detect and respond to critical events generated by Office Project Server 2007. The Management Pack collects the events from the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 event logs and highlights events that might indicate possible service outages or configuration problems, so you can take action.

The Jalasoft team has a series of Live Meetings starting today! First session kicks off today at 12 noon Eastern Standard Time.
