Windows Thin PC | “Windows Thin PC has been released to manufacturing”

Rapide billet pour vous relayer l’information reçue cette nuit concernant le statut RTM (Released to Manufacturing) de la version allégée de Windows 7, Windows Thin PC.

Cette version de Windows 7 peut vous permettre de transformer les anciennes machines de votre parc en clients légers permettant d’accéder à vos infrastructures de VDI et ceci à moindre coût.

“We appreciate your feedback and enthusiasm throughout the Windows Thin PC Community Technology Preview. Today, we are happy to announce that Windows Thin PC has been released to manufacturing (RTM), and will be available for our SA customers to download starting July 1, 2011.

As a result, we will be effectively ending out CTP program effective today, June 6^th, 2011.   However, the RC build of Windows thin PC will still be available to download at the CTP site, along with associated documentation until the product launches to customers. Additionally, you may refer to our general Windows Thin PC website, to get the latest information on Windows Thin PC.

Again, we thank you for all the feedback and evaluation provided in helping make the Windows Thin PC a success in the Windows community.”

MDT 2012 en version bêta 1 est disponible depuis peu en Open Bêta et téléchargeable depuis le lien suivant :

MDT 2012 Beta 1 est la seule version MDT actuellement supportée pour une intégration avec SCCM 2012 Beta 2 pour la prise en charge des scénarii de déploiement Zero Touch.

En quelques mots voici les améliorations apportées par cette nouvelle release :
