FEP 2010 est la nouvelle version du système de protection client Microsoft (pour faire suite à Forefront Client Security – FCS) et qui bénéficie d’une intégration native dans une infrastructure SCCM 2007 SP2 R2 existante afin d’améliorer l’expérience de l’administrateur (une seule console d’administration) et réduire les coûts d’implémentation et d’exploitation d’une infrastructure de protection Antivirus, Antimalware et autres rootkits via la mutualisation d’infrastructure (utilisation des serveurs SCCM pour la gestion de l’infrastructure FEP).
