Hello,

Since it does not prevent business-related transactions on-line and is an affiliate network, as a general rule (at least within my organization), all affiliate networks are blocked.

IMHO, there is no reason for any enterprise environment to need access to an affiliate network ... unless said enterprise is in the business of peddling questionable applications and/or content.

Should I ever receive a legitimate request from a user requiring access to said network, I would unblock it... but why bother unless that situation arises? Better to filter too much than too little.

could you explain why - challengedavinci.com - and associated sites are filtered

I saw nothing in the message by Alex that indicated there was a problem with them

the link on - challengedavinci.com - is to hydramedia.com, an affiliate network

are you saying there is a problem with hydramedia

Hey Andrew, I use w.bloggar and I used to think the same thing but now I am used to using it instead of a WYSIWYG editor. One area I think w.bloggar falls a little short in is the spell checker. Another free one that is WYSIWYG is BlogDesk it supports posting to multiple blogs. I could not get it to download my categories from myITforum though so I stopped using it.

Rod is right though, I use RSS Bandit (free) and it has built in integration for w.bloggar, I right click on a title and one of the options it to post using w.bloggar, all those posts that start with "RE:" on my blog are from that.

One other option you might not have thought of... which RSS Feed Reader do you use? A lot of the latest readers have the ability to also post to your web blog. I know NewsGator has this option. It's not as comprehensive and feature-rich as BlogJet, but it does the job.
