It enables your users to select the applications they need from the applications available for installation in your organisation. Shopping automates the approval workflow, software delivery and license control, ensuring your users get their applications as quickly and as effortlessly as possible.
The new features in version 2 are:

Chained approvers – Allow multiple approvers to be involved in the approval workflow.
Improved troubleshooting – Additional checks during installation and improved troubleshooting gives an easier administration and configuration experience.
Reporting engine – An in-built web based reporting engine means SQL Reporting Services is no longer required.
Machine based – Shopping information stored at machine level allowing users to shop for the same application on multiple machines.
Customisable UI – Customise the look and feel of the web interface; even change the name of Shopping!
