Consultant (pre-sales and design/deployment consultancy)
This is a US based role to help 1E customers or prospects understand 1E’s technologies and help implement solutions based on 1E technologies. The candidate must have excellent SMS skills and ideally a thorough understanding of MOM. This role will require frequent travel across the US and occasional travel to the UK.
The role will ideally suit a flexible self-starter who has excellent pre-sales, technical and communication skills. A minimum of 5 years experience with Microsoft SMS is essential, and a consulting or pre-sales background is highly desirable. The candidate should also possess a firm understanding of core Windows 2000/3 technologies such as Active Directory, TCP/IP Networking, Group Policy, etc to a high level of competency.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Extremely good career background in the aforementioned technologies/roles.
- Good communication and sales opportunity qualification (while this is not a sales role, the candidate must be able to technically and commercially qualify prospective sales).
- Demonstrable experience in deploying SMS 2.0/2003 in several large organisations >5,000 seats.
- Education to degree level would be an advantage, but is not compulsory with equivalent experience.
- This role will involve minimal supervision and will require considerable self-motivation.
